What is a good TSS score?
Base on actual CTL you can come up with a total TSS number per week if your CTL is around 40 we would recommend starting with around 300-350 TSS per week.
How much TSS is too much?
* Note: A maximum of 100 TSS can be accumulated at 100% effort in one hour. Many times, workouts are completed at less than 100% effort. Thus, you can gain more than 100 TSS in a given workout but no more than 100 TSS in any given hour.
How much is TSS an hour?
Estimate TSS from subjective effort level and duration. A one hour workout at each level would equal 30 TSS for an easy workout, 60 TSS for a moderate workout and 90 TSS for a hard workout.
How do you calculate TSS?
This means TSS is equal to the seconds of your workout times by Normalized Power x Intensity Factor. It is divided by your FTP (percentage of how hard it was) x 3600 (number of seconds in the hour). Then finally multiplied by 100.
What is Zwift TSS?
Zwift’s “stress points ” are really just TSS–the same number you see when you end a ride. Training Stress Score was developed by TrainingPeaks as a key workout metric. It combines both time and intensity into one metric which indicates how much stress your workout is putting on your body.
Does strava calculate TSS?
With Strava TSS Calculator you can connect to Strava and get your weekly TSS calculated to see if you are hitting your training goals or you need to go out for another ride.
How do you calculate TSS in wastewater?
TSS in mg/L can be calculated as: (dry weight of residue and filter – dry weight of filter alone, in grams)/ mL of sample * 1,000,000.
What is TSS water quality?
Total suspended solids (TSS) are particles that are larger than 2 microns found in the water column. Anything smaller than 2 microns (average filter size) is considered a dissolved solid.
What TSS mean?
Toxic shock syndrome (TSS) is a cluster of symptoms that involves many systems of the body. Certain bacterial infections release toxins into the bloodstream, which then spreads the toxins to body organs. This can cause severe damage and illness.
What is a good training load?
The optimal range for training load is in the middle. If you are on the right of that you are too high, and on the left then your load is too light. You can always see where you are now and adjust accordingly.
What is a good CTL number?
For a “normal” rider, like us, a CTL of 100 is a “good score”; increasing it by more than five a week is impressive and very hard to sustain. A Grand Tour rider will be looking to start their event with a CTL of around 150 TSS/d.
What is a TSS score?
Training Stress Score (TSS) is a way of measuring how much stress is put on the body from a ride. TSS is calculated using Normalized Power (NP), Intensity Factor (IF), and ride duration. TSS helps to determine the best combination of workouts and rest periods.
What does TSS mean in texting?
TSS — That’s so sweet.
What does TSS stand for in wastewater?
Biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) is the amount of oxygen it takes to degrade organic matter. Chemical oxygen demand (COD) is the amount of oxygen required to oxidize organic compounds (>500 milligrams per liter). Total suspended solids ( TSS ) is the total amount of suspended materials (>250 milligrams per liter).
