What are Tri tops?
Triathlon tops are made to be worn through all three disciplines of the triathlon. They are made of quick drying materials. When purchasing a triathlon top you should consider the fit of the garment. Many tops have small pockets for nutrition storage and some have zippers for ventilation.
What is a tri suit used for?
A triathlon suit is worn like a pair of cycling shorts, i.e. without underwear. It is worn for the swim, for which the material is made. You keep it for the cycle, for which it is very comfortable thanks to its built-in pad and you can run with it.

Wetsuits used for water sports are usually covered by abrasion-resistant Lycra and are not particularly designed for swimming positions. Triathlon wetsuits are designed for flexible swimming positions, making you comfortable especially when your arms are above your head and are pointed forward.
