How do you use intervals on Suunto?
To train with intervals:
- From the launcher, select your sport.
- Before you start an exercise recording, press the lower right button to open the sport mode options.
- Scroll down to Intervals and press the middle button.
- Toggle intervals on and adjust the settings described above.
You can use your Suunto 9 to navigate routes. Scroll to Routes and press the middle button to open your list of routes.
- Scroll to the route you want to navigate to and press the middle button.
- Press the upper button to start navigating.
- Press the upper button again at any time to stop navigating.

- Before you start an exercise recording, swipe up or press the lower button to open the sport mode options.
- Scroll down to Intervals and tap the setting or press the middle button.

SPORTS MODE: Flaunts multi-sports mode to track your favourite excercises like Cycling, Running, Treadmill, Weight Lifting and many more. CALLING: It notifies you twice for an incoming call and then returns to it’s home page making sure the call doesn’t disturb you.
Is Suunto Spartan trainer waterproof?
The Trainer Wrist HR is essentially the Suunto Spartan Sport Wrist HR with a smaller, slimmer body. You can expect the same sports tracking modes, onboard optical heart rate sensor, a waterproof design and big battery life.

You can access the barometer on Suunto 9 or Suunto Spartan watch by pressing the “down” button 4 times and then the middle button 2 times.

The estimation of your fitness level is based on detecting your heart rate response during each recorded running or walking workout. To get your fitness level estimated, record a run or walk with a duration for at least 15 minutes while wearing your Suunto 9.
How does Suunto 9 calculate vo2 max?
Fitness level Your Suunto 9 watch automatically calculates your VO2max during runs and brisk walks using GPS, heart rate data, and your personal background information. You can see your current fitness level on the watch, and follow your long-term progress in the Suunto app.
How do I save battery on my Suunto 9?
Your watch includes a power saving option that turns off all vibration, daily HR and Bluetooth notifications to extend battery life during normal daily use.
